CODE OF ETHICS

As a member of THE POODLE CLUB OF CANADA, I agree to abide by the following CODE OF ETHICS.

·        To be an exemplary member of the Club and refrain from detrimental public comment on any member or member’s dogs.

·        To abide by the Canadian Kennel Club’s rules and regulations.

·        To strive for the betterment of the Poodle breed and for the control/eradication of hereditary problems particular to the breed.

·        To never sell puppies to pet shops. It is preferred all pet puppies be sold on Non-breeding agreements.

·        To represent my dogs as honestly as possible to prospective buyers and assist them with advice on diet, vaccinations and general health care.  

·        To keep my dogs under conditions as described in " A Code of Paractice for Canadian Kennel Operations " written by the Canadian Veterinary Association.

·        To accept with dignity the cancellation of my membership should my actions contradict the aforesaid.
